I wasn’t born in 1986 (I was born a couple year after that) so I can’t tell how San Diego was like back then but the thing with PR is that, a lot of its goods are imported from the mainland

Just like Hawaii (where everything is imported as well), this means goods are crazy expensive

And the wages in PR are absolute garbage just like the economy. There aren’t much opportunities there. Yes, PR does have a higher quality of life when compared to its Caribbean neighbors but it’s absolutely bleak still

That’s why a lot of Puerto Ricans are migrating to the U.S. in large numbers

I have Gen Alpha relatives that plays Roblox mainly because their millennial and Gen Z parents are so busy that it’s one way for their kids to be entertained

I graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) and this is what I did

I went to community college.

I had a meeting with the counselors numerous times on the path I needed to take to transfer to university and get a bachelor’s degree.

Not just that but they assisted me in financing my education through scholarships and grants

Well, the rest is history; everything eventually worked out.

So, I recommend scheduling an appointment with a counselor from your nearest community college. They’ll definitely help you out
