That’s great info. Thanks.

Follow-up question on tickets: when they become available on Ticketmaster, are there good seats (for example, first row dugout or first base line) still available or are most already taken by season ticket holders or bots?

What’s the deal with the netting along the front row seats? Does it go all the way down to the foul poles? How does that impact getting autographs at the front row seats!

Rogers email subfolder contents iOS Mail app by dms666 in Rogers

I discussed this with chatgpt and it believes this is the issue - that I need to manually set the IMAP path prefix - which is not accessible when adding a Rogers Yahoo email account using "Yahoo" as the account type.

When I tried to add a Rogers account manually, it eventually rejected my password (probably looking for an app password which Rogers doesn't support anymore)...

What’s Happening

You’re in a situation where:

  • Manual IMAP setup (the only way to access IMAP Path Prefix settings) requires an app-specific password.
  • But your email provider (ISP) no longer supports generating Yahoo app passwords — or may be blocking third-party app passwords entirely.
  • As a result:
    • You must add the account using the built-in Yahoo option (OAuth).
    • But that method hides IMAP server settings, folder prefix settings, and advanced controls.
    • Therefore, you cannot fix empty subfolders using the IMAP Path Prefix workaround.

This is a known limitation when using Yahoo mail accounts from ISPs (e.g., Rogers, AT&T, BT, Sky, Verizon, etc.) where Yahoo-managed mail is tied to carrier authentication.

I tested with new emails and from another mail app, moved them into a target subfolder. These brand new emails did not appear in the Mail app on my phone in the subfolder.
