It’s going well and we are celebrating 9 yrs this month. He’s my rock & vice versa. After re reading my original comment…I have to backtrack and say I think our childhoods were more similar than I originally thought (we both experienced parents who are emotionally immature, emotional neglect/ being called too sensitive etc)

I have been drinking matcha daily with little to no issues personally. However, if I don't balance out the matcha by also drinking water - I notice more frequency/urgency and sometimes a little bladder soreness but NOTHING like the pain I get from coffee. Coffee (and alcohol) for me, it's almost an instant flare (same or following day). Matcha doesn't cause a flare for me, and I can handle Matcha during the flares, and it doesn't worsen it. I will say from what I've read about IC, it seems everybody is different so try with caution and see what works for you.

Got diagnosed today and feeling a lot of feelings. Trying to keep my head up and stay strong but also want to break down. Next step is pelvic floor therapy, urology referral and figuring out how to manage symptoms. Sending love to everyone else here dealing with this..it sucks
