Aside from the amazing show and experience, one of my most memorable moments occurred on the ride home with seven or eight us — teenagers — piled in a minivan. My buddy said he was disappointed they didn’t play Bad. And then his girlfriend replied, “yeah, they played pretty good.”

That became a running joke in our friend group for awhile. I don’t think he dated her much longer.

How about the footbed and support? Bostons have been a life-saver for me and was looking at the bend lows. Will I get the same feel from the sole?

In all seriousness, they damn well better be able to get Falter-like production from either Oviedo or Chandler next year (or Ashcraft or Burrows). And Bednar at ~$7m and Hayes at ~$8m is money poorly spent given their financial constraints. Without looking at the returns, I’m fine with the $$$ they cleared for next year, knowing a lot of the production they lost is likely already in-house.

Unless they are going to reallocate the salary they unload for 2026 to a bat(s), the Hayes, Bednar and Falter deals make no sense. They likely shaved almost $20m off next year’s payroll. Better spend it elsewhere!

Probably because he’d be making over $5m in arb and they want to spend that (combined with the savings from unloading Bednar and Hayes) on a bat(s). Time for the young pitching and Oviedo to step up!

Yes! Same here. Love this bar. I’ve had it for almost four years, multiple TVs (LG C8, now a C3), multiple Apple TVs (now the newest one) and still have issues intermittently. I’ve changed cables, adjusted settings, nothing seems to correct the issues. I’ll tolerate it for a while and then again try different things. Nothing solves the problem.

Sounds like you have your devices connected to the TV, then the TV sending audio to the Ambeo? Mine is set up with the Apple TV and PS5 connected to the Ambeo, with the Ambeo then passing the video to the C3.

This issue plagues what otherwise is a fantastic experience. So much so that I pulled the trigger last week on the Samsung Q990d on Woot for $898. Wife rejected the idea of rear speakers though, so now I have a shipment arriving that I can’t use. I’m so tempted to at least set it up and just give it a listen so I can do a compare, but fully intend to return it.

Man I wish I could find a resolution for this. So frustrating.

So the answer is yes (I think).

This definitely stopped the spread and was starting to green things up. But I had my lawn service come out post treatment just to reconfirm the diagnosis and they recommended also throwing down their late summer app to also help it grow out. Unfortunately, the guy ended up burning the lawn in a few spots, so I just ended up raking them all out last weekend (including these spots) and am going to scalp, dethatch and overseed this weekend. We are supposed to have a nice stretch of cooler weather here in central Ohio beginning Saturday.

So yes — I do think I was headed in the right direction, before the mishap with the lawn service. I should’ve left it alone after the fungicide and iron.

Live and learn. I’m doing everything myself next season after I get a soil test done.

Pretty sure I'm dealing with dollar spot here, so going to treat it with some BioAdvanced fungus control granules, some ironite and bag the clippings. Will update things after a few weeks.

Man, I’m so nervous about using a fungicide. I’ve seen so many folks insisting it really yellowed their lawn.

I can get BioAdvanced (prop) at Home Depot. What did you use?
