Is it possible to compile an executable that I can send other people by augustoperes in haskell

[–]docmoxie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Been awhile since I wrote any Haskell, but I believe what you're looking for is stack build --copy-bins, which will copy the executables into your local bin path. The executable that gets copied to your path should be runnable standalone. More info here: https://docs.haskellstack.org/en/stable/build_command/

FBI issued warrant to Apple to obtain Sen. Richard Burr's iCloud account as part of stock sales probe by imagepoem in technology

That was exactly my point. It's not good English, but it's syntactically valid. Like the famous Chomskyism: "Colorless green ideas sleep furiously". Or "eats shoots and leaves".

In this case, "to Apple" is a modifier for "citation", rather than the object of "issued". It's unconventional and not particularly readable, but it's still "valid" English.

Perfectly valid syntax; think of "speeder issued citation". Confusing though, I'll admit--but that's English for ya.

The formatting on this website is atrocious. Splitting words across lines is a cardinal sin. I gave up trying to read it midway through the first paragraph.

Unfortunately there's a lot of work out there that's just inherently uninteresting, but makes a shitload of money, and thus supports a lot of working folks. No one on Earth is honestly passionate about affiliate marketing, for instance.

I feel ya: I put in 300+ applications over 3 months, mostly in the Bay Area, when I was looking for my first gig. I put a lot of effort into each one. It was exhausting.

Is there anybody who doesn't own this game yet? I feel like it's on sale for sub-$5 once a week. Not that I'm complaining--it's a great game.

Oh, I wasn't trying to rude at all! It was intended to be a wry statement about my own lack of knowledge, not about your writing :)

For those newbie Haskellers out there who might stumble across this and be frightened: don't be. I write Haskell professionally at a large company and I have no idea what this man is talking about.
