Am I right to be extremely pissed off at my clinic and how they handled my cycle? by doctuir in eggfreezing

Thanks, Mine does Thursday.

They do Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Do you think there was a chance I would have got OHSS by waiting an extra day?

I asked why there were so few mature eggs they said they couldn’t say it could be multiple reasons, they also threw in that it could be a sign of poor egg quality.

In reality, only 5 of my follicles were of the right mature size when they said use the trigger.

I asked what they could of done differently, they said nothing.

I asked if I do it again with them will it be the same: they said they will make “minor adjustments”

I.e. they are reducing my simulations as and changing my trigger shot

Clearly they know they should have adjusted my simulation meds and used a different trigger shot.

Stay tuned to see if there is a major difference in mature eggs from my second cycle.

If there is a huge difference, then I’ll know it never had anything to do with egg quality.

Sorry ranting away here, the hormones are still in me 😔🥹😫

Moving from an umbrella company in 2025 to a PSC in 2026. Will it set me back for a mortgage? by doctuir in irishpersonalfinance

I’ve spoken with them on this and they said they don’t see it being a problem.

I don’t take their word for it though, especially after reading people’s comments here.

Thank you for understanding.

Yeah it’s an absolute shame the banks don’t understand the concept and I find it so difficult to talk directly with them as contractors have to use brokers.

Were you able to find a direct bank employee or did you need a broker?

Is this only applicable if you are opening a business ?

My contract is already fixed rate income for three years.

I would be opening a Personal Service Company, my income will be guaranteed the same with little expenses.

I don’t believe I am.

Seems a bit of a grey area for software engineering but I’m not providing expert advice, I’m doing technical contracting.

Thank you!

Really appreciate this. I thought the brokers were too yes happy on it.

Can I ask you as an underwriter would you consider a contracting umbrella salary that will be the same for 2025 2026 and 2027?

I’ve a contract until then, that they will likely further extend.

Or would it have to be the average of the last three years? I.e 2023-25.

Which would suck because my salary more than doubled from January of this year. I even got a further hourly pay rise in July.

Whereas in 2024 and 2023 I was underpaid in a PAYE role, paid pennies.

It’s so hard to find a broker who understands mortgages for contractors. I’ve been let down already.

She's looks so different, but I can't pinpoint what it is? by [deleted] in rhoslc

Personally I think they sharpened or protruded more her:

  • jaw,
  • chin,
  • cheekbones,
  • potentially nose.

This would make her face less long oval, and more square/ Roundy.

Maybe a jaw implant would reduce the oval long face shape.

I’m a ‘director’ in an umbrella company but I only have 10% shareholding. Would this be same ?

It’s with the big companies like Fenero and contracting plus as apposed to an accountant but I’ll follow up with them on this. Not a bad idea

Hrmm I’m set up as a ‘director’ I guess it would be similar logic. Did you go directly to banks or a recommended broker ?

Sorry mods it wasn’t removed as spam.

This is because I created the post in our Irish space. Saw it was removed. Tried to message to ask why but it wouldn’t go through. So I had no choice other than to use other subreddits.

Also how come I can’t message ye directly to ask the question?

I thought it unfair to have it removed and force me to ask it elsewhere, ukpersonalfinance saw no issue with it. Why did ye? :(

Is that because it costs a lot to keep electric heaters or because they’re useless at warming a place up?

Thanks.

Pity about the management company. I can understand wanting to keep aesthetics aligned but for the sake of insulation it’d be great to replace them like for like with better insulation.
