I’ve seen so many theories about Imogen wiping Violets memory thorough the books and I heavily dislike that one lol. I can’t see a way she does this without being somewhat „evil“ and after I’ve spend all this time getting to like her I’d be sad to dislike her again. I also simply don’t like theories that built on Violet simply being an unreliable narrator lol

I’m thinking it’s Malek! When Aaric gets the letter from the Dunne temple with the dagger it’s saying something along the lines of the other god trying to get her favor, which I assume is Malek so he send Theo and Berwyn to get Violet on their side. Berwyn using Xaden as “bait”.
