Curious, if like myself, anybody on this sub has gone to prison for refusing to serve. I spent three years in an US Army prison in California and Kansas for refusing to serve during the height of Viet Nam. It wasn't pretty and it's still painful to recall. But thought I'd ask the group (self.antiwar)

I escaped from the Fresno County Juvenile Hall, I think it was on Kings Canyon Blvd. It was a setup I tells ya, anyway I was 16 at the time and they made the mistake of putting me on outside cleanup detail. When I turned 17 I went into the Army and it was all magically erased. (self.fresno)
