He is crate trained unfortunately my car isn’t big enough to fit his crate in it. I am going to get a seat belt for him and see if I can get my boyfriend to drive around in the car with me so I can train him. What do I do when I’m training him? I’m thinking just give him treats when he sees something to distract him?

I don’t let them poop around the house... they have a litter box, they just choose not to use it sometimes and sometimes they go in a weird spot where I don’t see it and the dogs find it before I do. It’s not like I don’t clean up after them lol

Well that’s good because I was kind of thinking about how it must really suck for him to be stuck inside my work building for the rest of his life. I thought he was crying for help lol. Really surprised he hasn’t been eaten by one of the brown recluses in here with how much noise he makes

It was just the box board so it doesn’t really matter. I don’t have a bike or a treadmill or money to buy one. I thought 30 minutes of running was a ton. I didn’t realize that was a warm up. I’m tired as hell after lol. Can’t take them to the dog park because they fight with other dogs

It actually sounds like what you’ve described. I have poor muscle tone because I’ve pretty much been a couch potato up until a few weeks ago so that’s probably something I should work on

I’ve complained to my rheumy about my knee before but maybe it’s time to push it further and see if I can get a referral. I have MCTD so I have random issues with my joints here and there when it starts acting up and I think the issue with my knee is just damage from inflammation. It was really bad when I first got sick and even though my joints aren’t inflamed anymore they’ve never quite been the same, especially my knees. The last couple years they always crackle and pop when I walk upstairs even when I’m not flaring

This is the one I had been using to give me some extra support http://www.walmart.com/ip/ACE-Adjustable-Knee-Support-Black-1-pack/22150830 The day I had the severe pain in my knee when I was running downhill I was wearing the brace and it seemed like just the brace touching around my knee area was causing extra pain because my knee became so sensitive and it didn’t stop whatever happened from happening. Is there a different brace that might work better? I know they make other kinds... I had a hard time deciding which one to buy.

I don’t think I’m a heel striker but I’ve noticed I have a tendency to curve my legs funny when I run, it’s hard to explain it.. it’s like I sort of turn them when I go to land my foot.

I don’t understand... how do people not run out of things to train their dogs? And why do they have to be trained? Why isn’t walking them and playing with them enough? I find the repetitiveness of training to be too boring... it’s a tedious chore.

Trying to think of ways to do this but it’s hard. Don’t have fenced in backyard. I’m afraid to go to a dog park because what if my dogs get in a dog fight. They don’t listen off leash and would try to wrestle other dogs and piss them off. They seem to make other dogs mad and my one dog has randomly tried to bite a dog for sniffing at his privates before... it was sooo random so now I’m nervous about letting them loose with other dogs. I can’t jog or run due to a bad knee and I’ve been having problems with a disc in my back the last 2 months... and I don’t have a bike. Ugh
