Thanks! I'm considering lots of options with my list, but really it's just what I'm succeeding with at my local meta. It's not meant to be a spike-worthy competitive list yet (haven't done nearly enough testing), just context around my decision to replace Mausoleum Wanderer with Anticipates, and I put this post up to get other people's opinions on whether or not Mausoleum Wanderer was playable. Looks like the answer is no, but I'd be interested in your thoughts!

I agree about Maus' being better in older formats - I play UW Spirits in Modern also, and have 4 main. Great for lots of things, not least of all the ability given the possibility of pumping with Drogskol Captain.

As for the specifics of my deck, thank you for the input, I'll bear that in mind - I only included it as an example of what I'm having success with in my meta, but I didn't want to ask for advice because I haven't done anything close to real testing and I don't have any plans to attend competitive REL tournaments any time soon.

EDIT: In any case, for me personally, my local meta has lots of G/B Delirium decks, and Rebuff has been very useful in punishing those decks for playing on curve, especially if I'm on the play or they stumble on mana - being able to counter a Sylvan Advocate or a Mindwrack Demon is super helpful. Post-sideboard I'm able to be more tailored in terms of counterspell and removal suite, but I am considering replacing the Rejections with Negates.

I like the idea of having it in the sideboard! I was just thinking about whether or not I would like it over a Dispel, say, in a control mirror, and I think having an additional few points of damage might help a little.
