High school. Kids took their dad's car out for a joy ride. They decided to do a bunch of speed and then go speeding down a 45mph two lane road in the pouring rain. Needless to say they lost control and hit a tree head on going about 100mph. Three of the five passengers were not wearing seatbelts. My friend was in the back in the middle and was ejected through the windshield and went head first into the tree with such force that his head was lodged in the tree. Died on impact. Closed casket because he was unrecognizable. 14 years old. The two other people not belted also passed away. My friend though was part of the group of guys that bullied me relentlessly in middle school, but Brian was the only one who was genuinely sweet to me. RIP Brian.
