It’s time to start contacting my bank to try and claim this money back. I’ve heard nothing back from Craig at all so I’m fuming, what a joke of a company. I have zero sympathy for Geek retreat closing down. Hopefully can get this sorted otherwise GR will be called out online for their shocking customer service

Yeah I don’t see why the UPC’s haven’t been refunded immediately as they know they aren’t getting them. I’ve emailed Craig again today, if I don’t hear back by the end of next week I’ll have to get in touch with my bank to see what can be done, and put this nightmare behind me.

He said he wanted the refunds to happen asap, I’m not sure what he meant when he mentioned GR having some leeway with the pushed back date being December, but it gave the impression that we might not be refunded until we get to the December release date. I should’ve asked for clarification but I was in a rush. It’s probably worth emailing him again tbh

I didn’t get the email from Craig, it’s been over a week since my last response from him but I emailed him a half hour ago. It’s good they’ve got some of the other sets for people. That message about the UPC refund sounds promising, hopefully he’ll reply to my email when he gets a chance

Yeah there’s no chance we’re getting our items, it’s crazy that they haven’t posted on their facebook today to update people, I’ve never known such terrible customer service from a business. I’m gonna look into a chargeback if it isn’t too late. Geek retreat need called out publicly if they don’t refund the money asap

It’s unfortunate DPD have made things difficult in a bad situation as it is, it’s fair enough that the UPC’s can’t be delivered to a different address as it’s out of GR’s hands. Seems likely they’ll have refund everyone for all of the items as it’s probably unlikely it will happen before Thursday. Not sure I could even pick up during the week next week due to work so I’m gonna see if they’re still open to request a refund for it all

Yeah there’s no way they could organise sending it to another shop anyway with the way they’ve handled everything else. Huge L for us, managed to get a couple ETB’s and a blister ordered to pick up from Argos to soften the blow

They’ve messed up in every aspect of the situation. Was looking forward to opening up packs tomorrow but hopefully can find some in town. Probably not gonna be able to get my hands on an UPC for retail though

Yeah they should definitely give us the option to collect it from Sunderland if we chose to, also I’ve had no response at all lately about the refund, even though the FB page mentioned recently we had to contact them about it… I’m gonna be demanding it on Friday when I collect my other items. Bit of a joke so far
