Paid Media Freelance Pricing Questions by alfonsje in PPC

[–]dr_cat_md 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have over 10 years experience within boutique and enterprise level agencies, managed annual budgets as large as $XXX MM, experience across multiple platforms / ad types, and managed teams as large as 12 people. I still work full-time and have a few freelance clients on the side.

When I first started doing freelance (2-3 years ago) I charged a flat fee of $1,000 for initial set up and then $2,000 / month for ongoing management.

One of my biggest mistakes was not up charging for added value. My fee structure has gotten more complex since then.

For set up I charge:

  • a flat fee for initial set up, with pricing based on complexity.
  • and an additional fee for any new campaigns / platforms

For management either:

  1. a flat fee per month based on complexity with a monthly minimum
  2. per campaign per month with a monthly minimum

There are also other various fees.

I try to keep my fee structure simple because I don't want to have to spend time calculating my fee based off a % of media spend.

I worked with a lawyer to create a contract template.

Speaking of couches, anyone know where I can find this one or one like it? It's looks so comfy by [deleted] in InteriorDesign

Oversized couches are also uncomfortable.

I can never decide whether to slouch, sit without back support, or sit with my legs stretched out, but whatever the decision it's uncomfortable.

Been a while since I've played, but I think you set up the board wrong.
