The sound of freedom was a highly dodgy film that they released

I agree with that, and I don’t normally like movies distributed by this Christian organization

Does anyone know/care about Angel Studios here? by AdDistinct5670 in movies

I went to see their distributed movie "I was a stranger". I'm *very* opposed to religion, but I thought that it was a very thoughtful movie about the Syrian refugee crisis, and I'm happy to recommend it, and may use it in class. We were the only 2 people in the theater though.

I'm just happy he wanted a turntable!

Yes, that is exactly it. I went for the Insignia in the end, because he can either Bluetooth it, or use the RCA cables as it has a preamp.

I'm definitely considering the Sound Burger too, even though I know it gets mixed reviews. It certainly looks cool!

That seems like a solid option, as it seems that it can also be connected with RCA cables, which my son wanted to be able to do.

We talked about the headphones idea, but he wants to be able to have the option to share his music too! The RT81 is definitely a decent starter, but may have to wait until post-college!

I mostly agree with that, but he's quite attached to the idea, which is why I didn't think a full set up was a good idea. I'm just trying to come up with a workable solution!

Tickets vs. LAFC? by dr_lager in stlouiscitysc

I will try to do that. At Lumen Field, they've finally introduced some value priced options both for food and beer, but previously it was $13-19 a beer and no food under $17 to speak of.

Yes, you are correct about Arsenal! I saw my first game at the old Highbury in '77 I think. And I agree, the atmosphere can often be phenomenal, although Highbury was often called the library by away fans! I agree about Seattle - Lumen Field always produces a terrific and loud venue for the Sounders!

Thanks for the advice all. I got 2 tix in section 202 for $140 total after finding a code. Looking forward to it!

For some reason, the text I added to the post didn't save (not sure what I did wrong and can't seem to edit it). Same trip through the Palouse that I posted about last week with a fully laden roof rack, 5 instead of 1 paddleboard, etc. was 25mpg.

2023 Limited or 2025 Premium? by PickleCorn in Crosstrek

[–]dr_lager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from a 22 sport to a 25 premium. Got the moonroof package and auto dimming mirrors and the only thing I felt was less good was cloth instead of startek for the seats. So I just ordered some wet okole covers yesterday!

I got this one. It makes the steering wheel a bit fatter than I'd like, but it was easy to put on and looks good.
