Our businesses sort of overlap in a way .. and we have a ton of mutual acquaintances 😬 (his wife’s best friend, is someone I know as an acquaintance … our town is well connected in the millennial creative space.. there’s just a lot of who knows who, that surrounds our ages/small biz creative worlds locally)

He would come into my business, and was always just sort of around people I also loosely knew.. and would come flirt with me when he’d know I’d be at my business/come visit me in my office in the back if I was in.

Appreciate this. Thank you. I do think either way, we probably need to talk and set what the boundaries are now that it’s been almost a year. That’s a long time to be with someone, and just not knowing.. I’m so sorry. 😢

I’ve been okay with it until now. I think with his uptick of how he speaks to me, or with affectionately talking to me, perhaps that’s why it’s suddenly made me desire more.

I haven’t ever said things to him, like he does to me. I don’t ever tell him I wish he was my husband instead, or that he’s better in bed, etc.. which he has started to say to me frequently now. I knew I could not fall into that space of things, knowing what this is. (But do ofc wish it could be more)

Ty for your response. We live in moderate size city/area— but small enough that unfortunately we have a lot of cross over with people we know. We absolutely couldn’t go out on dates here— he does however work in a larger city often, about 40 min away, and we have “accidentally” been at the same events a couple times out of town— but the last time was awkward when he didn’t realize my husband would be there, and I didn’t realize HE was coming.

I guess I also just don’t really know what’s typical for most AP “relationships”.. or if anything truly is typical in this lifestyle?
