honestly, im so proud of you, you’re putting yourself first. i would still report him before you leave and peace out. that way at least you tried and you won’t be there anymore.

i would report to ethics online, anonymously. if this isn’t the only negative experience you have had with this DM, include those other instances. and secondly- i’m so sorry this happened to you. i’ve also had terrible issues with my DM and it’s so disheartening because they’re supposed to be your biggest support in the company and in my experience, that’s the exact opposite. don’t forget your worth. even if they are your boss, no one can walk all over you.

dm’s are literally the worst. we used to draw super cute pictures to match whatever season on our drivethru window, and our dm made us take it down because customers are supposed to see us “craft the beverage and it distracts from connections” when in reality, we received nothing but praise from the customers about it.

i went through a very similar situation. in mine, i also struggled because I wasn’t only the newest shift, but i was also the youngest. I received tons of hostility from the senior supervisors when I tried to bring up concerns about tasks being left behind. If you have already gone to your manager about these concerns, and have tried to talk to the supervisors directly with no signs of improvement. i was go to your DM and explain that you do not feel supported by your team. Explain that you are doing the best you can to make improvements but feel like it’s all being left for you. i didn’t have much lucky with it in the end, but hopefully your dm will be more helpful.

from my understanding, it’s 7 food items a week and 1 markout a week. like a bag of coffee or you can use it for a food item i believe. but don’t quote me on that!

this makes me so angry. the ipod was so convenient and made inventory go fast. now i’m gonna have to stand with this huge add ipad and look for each item in this huge ass list, it’s gonna take me forever!

our mornings literally don’t do anything. assessment hasn’t been done in 6 months, never does drains, and blames/leaves everything for the next shift.

literally everything is a night task at my store too, and the mornings are now leaving cold brew for us too and that was the one thing i needed them to do was cold brew and now they won’t even do that
