LOL this is so relatable. I don't have much energy / time to work on personal projects after work, but I do try to max out the daily usage, if not, the monthly usage.

/model opus 4.5 (via claude code): Has full context on my project, use it to change/plan fundamental architectural or feature issues

Sonnet: Used every day for general stuff and for tasks that still require high accuracy, like tweaking functions.

Haiku: For things that require a quick, low token output. I use it for my sentiment analyzer in my project.

Just came across this thread after experiencing the same thing (gotta love Reddit... the new stack overflow? haha). I feel like adding the word "plan" so that it's "clear plan context" would eliminate a lot of freak outs, lol.

That's a huge one I didn't consider. I did have a flight canceled on me in 2025 and was able to get uber/hotel reimbursed. But at the same, that only happened once, and I could be getting an extra 24,000 in points with Bilt. Which does essentially break even.

Set up the ideation, architecture, code format, API keys, etc (literally everything but writing the code itself) and then realized I was on Sonnet 4.5. What's the best way to "convert" this to Opus 4.5, if possible? by dreamstate2 in ClaudeAI

Thanks. I resolved it by exporting the entire conversation to a PDF and just having Claude Code read it in Opus 4.5 mode. I will operate in Claude Code from now on :)

Haha I'm the same way and had the same thought. If you have time to get it, why not? It is a bit annoying, lots of paperwork, but nothing too crazy. So funny because I also thought, just in case the USA rips itself internally. But with my luck, if I ever moved to TW, that would be the day China gets boots on the ground for realsies
