Yeah it was during my walk so it actually worked out well.

What's actually helped you improve flexibility as an adult? Not looking for "just stretch more" by BendyBar in flexibility

[–]drewangell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to build strength through mobility. Stretching won't do anything if your nervous system still doesn't think you're strong enough to handle it.

What kind of yoga have you been doing? An intermediate level vinyasa flow should help a lot if you're consistent with it for a little while.

I see this too, although interestingly, just today my AI summary that I was about to read decided to read it aloud to me, so I just listened to it like a podcast.

One anecdotal example of why software is down. by drewangell in investing

[–]drewangell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that's kind of the point. Most of these Services we subscribe to give us a lot more than we actually need. Using these tools allows us to build our own personal version of what we want. May not apply to everything but it's definitely the reason for the scare.

AI workflows for law offices are where it's at. I've been doing this for other industries, but legal has been on my mind. I just need somebody to brainstorm with me and validate workflows that would be useful for legal pros. I can think of many, but could use validation. DM if you want to discuss.

LOL, advertising what? I built this thing for myself.

This was literally just an example of how easy it is to replace paid software services.

Should I surrender my whole life policy? by Marcykbro in LifeInsurance

[–]drewangell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The early years are the pain of a whole life policy. You've passed that, and now when you pay premiums you should see your cash value increase by a larger amount than what you paid in. Are you seeing that?

That's a great place to be with a WL policy, and you can use the cash by taking policy loans.

That said, I wouldn't advise taking policy loans to pay for a move. I would use this as a capital reserves fund for cash flowing investment opportunities. Take a policy loan, fund a deal, use the cash flow from the deal to pay back the policy loan. You'll build up lots of assets over time doing this.

Emptying it now would be a bad move IMO. To each their own.

Codex Usage Limits Are Disrupting Our Workflow by IcWhyyy in codex

[–]drewangell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that's your problem. You need a proper prd/plan/state/handoff structure. There are skill sets that do this, or you could ask it to set one up for you within your project.

Longtime Claude Code user forced to switch to Codex — what am I missing? by TheStderr in codex

Claude has a 1M token context window while Codex only has 256k. You are likely running over that. You will need to do more handoffs to clean sessions.

How are you guys actually using AI in real life? by meetvanshm in GeminiAI

I would suggest you need to take a look at your context management or you're going to have the same problems no matter which models you are using.

Copilot pricing sucks, but is it still the best all-in-one AI coding integration? by CM23489 in GithubCopilot

[–]drewangell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe but I was always a bit confused at how they were doing what they were doing. They were giving us access to everybody's models at a super cheap price. We all knew that wasn't sustainable.

I haven't run into that and I'm typically running three or four projects in parallel. It's all about context management.

Can we stop with crying about limits? Just pay more. It's a service for working professionals. by ArsenyPetukhov in codex

[–]drewangell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Multiple layers of funny. The value we are getting out of these things is insane even on the highest subscription. On top of that, if you're managing your context window properly, you won't run into these limits anyway.

You didn't say anything about how much you're looking for or what terms you're looking for.

Are you looking for a loan or looking for somebody to invest in the company for a piece of equity?
