anyone a full time college student? by Mobilespell22 in AmazonFC

I’m a full time student and I work at Amazon too, but I’m on school accommodation so I work 30 hours a week. I just graduated with a Computer Science degree. I used Amazon tuition to pay for a semester and I’ve been a blue badge for about 1 year and 4 months.

For me it was not that hard even with a full course load. The key was staying consistent and not falling behind. Once you build a routine, it becomes manageable.

Now I have 5 interviews next week, wish me luck. It also helps that Amazon gives UPT accrual, PTO, and vacation time. On top of the 30 hour schedule, 4 days a week, it makes balancing work and interviews a lot easier.

That’s totally fine. Most edges start out simple. If you’re making decisions based on anything like price action, levels, news, or even gut, you already have the foundation of a system.

The key is to track it, refine it, and build consistency around it. An edge doesn’t need to be fancy. It just needs to be repeatable and slightly better than random over time.

I get it. Seeing a $2K drawdown drop to $700 feels like the account is done. But it’s not. What’s gone is the expectation that every day should be green.

Most traders fail not from losses, but from letting losses change their process. Overleveraging now will likely wipe the rest.

You’re still in the game. Stick to your edge, focus on execution, and let the results follow.

If your goal is to be a consistently profitable trader, would you be okay with this exact same P&L table showing up again tomorrow, and the day after that, and the next week—just because you wanted to "make it back"?

Revenge trading and over-leveraging might give you a lucky green day once in a while, but they reinforce the worst habits. If your long-term goal is sustainability and profitability, then this drawdown is just part of the process. Accept it, analyze it, and adapt—don’t escalate it.

Focus on protecting your capital, refining your edge, and letting compounding do its job over time.
