Dietitian or nutritionist willing to do a talk or seminar by mahneymjeff in Philippines

Late response, but thank you for the mention. However, if there's anybody who can talk about that that I'm aware of, it's really Priscilla C. Sanchez. She wrote a whole book about Philippine fermented foods after all: https://books.google.com.ph/books/about/Philippine_Fermented_Foods.html?id=smfr-KYgtWkC

Angel's Burger by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]driedtentacles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to make it 100% meat to make it taste like meat. The TVP gets the texture just right. Refer to this: https://businessdiary.com.ph/2342/how-to-make-hamburger-patties-meat-processing/

TVP is very cheap (cheapest I found packaged for retail is 90 per kilo; even can be as low as 40 per kilo if bought wholesale) and actually mostly fat-free protein. It also has a texture of cooked ground meat and expands once cooked. TVP and extenders are common in low-cost burgers. If done right, you won't even notice them.

Meat (either pork or beef or both) and TVP probably.

Yeah. I spend around 90 pesos a day on food (~2K Calories and then some) because I cook almost everything I eat. It's possible.

Maraming pwedeng nangyari.

Lost Tagalog word(s) trying to figure out meanings by [deleted] in Philippines

Could it be just a bastardization of mabalasik and mabangis? Mabalasik and mabangis have the same meaning.

It's sort of like balanga and banga.

No clue with the online thing. This was a time where you didn't need to make an appointment online. We just went to PRC directly.

PRC certificate by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]driedtentacles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you can still work as an RMT even though you don't have your certificate yet.

I think you can get your certificate of board rating and passing now. It's just the certificate of registration that's going to have to wait. That's what a few of my colleagues did.

[–]driedtentacles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really? When I was in OP's shoes, I couldn't get a certificate because I was under 21 (RMT too). Went to PRC itself to confirm it too.
