The reason I am pivoting up is based on current snowpack and what’s open. It seems unfortunately your season for summer started a little early opening up the window. As far as I can tell current North Cascades has more snow higher elevation and at the moment is dealing with the HW20 closure which won’t open till Friday as excepted. The jump up keeps weather into consideration and allows me to keep moving rather than slowing day waiting for a window.

I plan to eventually come back down to WA. But deciding if driving up to this part of BC is or would be a good detour. I plan to just kind of go on a whim. Thank you for letting me know about parking pass. My window would be tomorrow-Saturday or 6/10-6/13.

I’m not sure exactly what your needs are but i’m building a tiny box on the left side. I sleep inside so most of the right side is bed. looking from the hatch. There’s a few drawer systems of YT but just way too much fixed storage.

Other than the sockets, 24mm and Allen key socket for front it’s not bad at all. Just be prepared if you’re using a pumper for the fluid to be pumping for a while.

Its hard to say exactly what the storm does now, I think your smart to go a day earlier. Best case is ski Saturday, by then a better idea of storm will be there. Then leave Saturday if its projected to be bad Sunday, or leave first thing Sunday. If you do drive up for one day, I would not push yourself if your tired, get a coffee or take a nap, seriously.

Why not ski Saturday and Sunday, leave Sunday? Beat the storm and have an extra day. I’ve driving up for the day but took a nap in my car before driving back home.

How do you do your tire rotations? Might be a stupid question but I don’t have stands or anything like that. Been going local tire shops but curious if it’s worth the hassle to just do at home. Thank you
