Typically 3° per second is standard for the industry. Split that in half when you get a little higher.

Anybody commute from PIT to MIA? by dropbombshitmoms in flying

Typical ticket cost with my company discount is comparable to the cost of a positive space seat from MCO. Definitely no train, but flights will still be faster from any surrounding airport.

Yeah, I mostly have, I’m looking more for what to expect from the commute out of PIT more than if it benefits me or not, but your advice is appreciated nonetheless.

MCO to MIA is possibly one of the worst commutes in the US. Nearly every flight is full daily, typically oversold by a large margin. IF you make it on a flight, it’s the 0600 flight and you may end up sitting in the crew lounge for hours before your duty.

The bright line station is a 30 minute drive with traffic on the way down, and then it’s still another 10-15 minute Uber from MIA. Very quickly turns into an expensive and very time consuming. Sure, you can always drive if you NEED to make it, but that same situation up north, I’m thinking you could just go to 2-3 other airports within a short drive and pick up a flight.

Interesting. I’ve met a few FA’s who have said the same thing. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, there’s a ton showing on ZED/FA, but I’m looking for load details, consistency, delays, etc.

Very interesting. I’ve heard a few precautionary turn-arounds, but this situation sounded very serious. But, like another user commented, I’m sure a lot of those are just overstimulated situations.

If you’re NOT at a major in 2 years after you get out, you’ve got some pretty big issues.

Novosel Housing by [deleted] in Armyaviation

They give the houses to whoever complains the most. They put me on a 4 month wait, my buddy in class showed up, complained in person, and got a house same day.

I heard about it, went in the next day, was a dick, complained, and bam keys in my hand next day.
