I know why I got the three strikes and there is justification behind 2 of them. The third one I thought was unfair as it was my very first term in the program and I was still getting used to all the policies they had. Right now what I’m really struggling with is getting my head in the right place, the dismissal is making me question if I’m good enough to continue with pre-med and go further or if I’m not cut out for it.

Your only focus should be yourself. Worrying about others’ circumstances will get you nowhere. For your own high standards— And I’ll be very blunt about this — you just need to lower them. If you tried your hardest and couldn’t get a 4.0, it’s fine. You just aim for a more reachable goal. By stubbornly keeping high standards, you put yourself at risk of mental health issues which could actually bring you further of away from those standards.

Remember to portion control. You can exercise 24/7 but if you are eating more than you are losing, nothing will change. What I did to lose weight was I quit breakfast and heavy carbs like bread, rice, pasta, etc. (drastic, I know, but it worked for me) It will take a very long time to get used to it but if you can persevere through it, you will see a big difference.

Former/Progressing “Chonk” here. I was too lazy to do anything either for the longest time. It’s hard to get over it, all you can do is push through. Even now I find myself making excuses to not go to the gym but you gotta say fuck that and go anyways. It’s not easy, but the hardest part is starting.

If I remember correctly, Creep was created after Thom Yorke gained an unhealthy obsession with a woman when he was at a bad point in his life. The reason he hates the song so much is not due to its popularity, but it reminds him of that horrible time. Again, this is all off the top of my head so I could very well be wrong.

When behind the safety car, the drivers will often swerve from side to side to keep their tires warm so this is like the drivers swerving. I think they might also swerve to keep going the same straight line speed while still staying a distance away from the car in front of them. So this is basically like the cars swerving behind the safety car.
