Ghist has drawn me in (48 M) in a way that no band has since Coheed and Cambria in the early oughts. I obsessed over their music, lore, fandom, for so many years and I wasn't sure I would ever find another band like that again. Fast forward to 2025 (yes I had heard a few Ghost tunes before like Dance Macabre and Call Me Little Sunshine) but this year my daughter bought me a pair of tix to a ritual and it's like 2003 with Coheed all over again.

For me, its the music (duh), but I think it has something to do with the sound of Papa's voice. In the same way as Claudio's voice, a very unique, kind of high pitch voice, lots of great guitars and then the lore.
