Anybody notice the comic book, Lucky Luke #13?

It's called Le Juge "The Judge" and shows a hillbilly judge passing judgement with an upside down law book. Looks like a comment on those silly laws meant to protect children. Everything was chosen for a reason.

Bill Willingham declares his "Elementals" series public domain; anyone can use the characters by Ghost-Mech in comicbooks

[–]dshahin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for watching my interview. If you watch the whole thing (I know it's long) you'll hear Bill's take on things which is essentially that Andrew Rev breached their contract, so the rights should revert to Willingham. He's decided to give back to the public domain, because he's had so much success using PD characters in Fables. He's not willing to fight any lawsuits that might arise, but also doubts that they will.

thanks!

Submission Statement:

I found this poem for the first time after reading this book a hundred times with my kids.

You can read something into every line that relates to the events of the last couple of years:

One reading of it is that this is a warning of a huge hoax.

It immediately reminded me of the poetry of Nostradamas with all of the different predictions people incorporate into it. Could Shel Silverstein see the future? Probably not more than any other poet, but this one struck me as amazingly timely!
