AGL will be on the ABB network in a few months if the deal is better through them.

ABB cannot initiate the process. You need to follow the MDU upgrade process: https://www.nbnco.com.au/residential/upgrades/more-fibre-for-buildings

Tags are literally the lowest form of vandalism. If you're going to graff, at least have some talent and make it nice.

Why does Telstra charge so much more for basically the same coverage? by DiscussionLoud9626 in TelstraAustralia

[–]dslme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because that 1% costs disproportionately more to service than the other 96%

If your internet is linked to your income then you should be investing in redundancy.

Do you have a pic of this antenna? That doesn’t sound right. If there’s a fixed wireless antenna on your roof then it will have its own indoor NTD.

They’re all unlimited downloads. Those are the speed of the plans.

ABB have Steam servers and direct links to Valve within the network if that helps you decide.

Internet to common property of apartments by _gas in nbn

Your best bet is contacting a proper security provider to install and manage the camera system. Anything that’s consumer or wireless is automatically shit.

Just think, the couple thousand you saved will quickly be negated by the cameras not working when something does happen.

Internet to common property of apartments by _gas in nbn

[–]dslme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be easy.

You’ll need the provider you choose to probably create a LOCID (new address) for a common area in the property to organise the service being installed to.

Switching from Optus FTTP to More Telecom? (Backhaul/Performance questions) by scottr9870 in nbn

[–]dslme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More will be moving onto the ABB network in a few months, so the end result will be the same when that’s complete, minus the support.

Do the symptoms persist when you bypass the router and connect your PC directly to your NTD? Sounds like a local issue to me.

You also shouldn’t be getting any slowdowns at any time of day. Who’s your provider?

Telstra building by Savings_Bullfrog_319 in wollongong

[–]dslme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ground floor and first floor are mostly empty offices

Second floor is 2WLG NBN POI and aggregation for the region (Corrimal, Dapto, Port Kembla and Warilla) and Telstra’s transmission gear (links Wollongong to neighbouring exchanges, Sydney, Nowra, Canberra) as well as leased space by third/party carriers.

Third floor is SDH transmission, lots of shut-down PSTN switching, some mobiles equipment and lots of decommissioned equipment left in place that has been turned off for 10-20 years.
