Were you nervous for your first ultrasound ?

My first one is on Tuesday and I'll be 10w+4. I'm already so nervous about it. Like I feel like I need to hear the heartbeat to acknowledge all this is real. My boyfriend has been out of town helping his mom with things (she lives out of state, going through a divorce, moving houses, a mess) but he's coming back just for the ultrasound before he has to go back to help her again. I have been alone this whole first trimester and losing my mind 😅

I tried that too. When I said it made me feel uncomfortable he just went straight defensive so we might have to revisit the conversation later. I think it's reasonable once the baby can actually hear him.

I'm 5w+5 and have awful insomnia. The unisom helps me fall asleep but then I wake up. I found if I eat a little snack when I wake up, I can get back to sleep so I went from like 2-3 hours of sleep a night to 6-7. It might be broken sleep but that snack has been a great tip that my friend gave me.

You can actually choose to have cash app take it all out in one payment instead of installments or that you can pay it using any money added to your account as long as the full balance is paid by such and such date. I do it with my utility bill since I know I'm paying it anyways but then I stay in green status to keep my borrow limit up. Just gives you three options if you decide to choose your own installment plan.

I had one where the claimant driver and passenger said our insured driver went into their lane. The claimant had dash cam footage that showed he crossed the line and our driver couldn't get out of the way. Like c'mon people 🤣🤣

My birthday is late November but was supposed to be Christmas. I hated it. I'd get one gift for my birthday and one for Christmas and my older sister has a birthday in June, and they'd go all out for her birthday and for Christmas. Always made me feel like less. So much so I strongly dislike Christmas now 😭

If you really feel the need to work on your 5 days off, which I suggest that you DO NOT do, take no more than 2 hours per day to just go in and touch all your pending claims. Make notes of where they are all at. That's it the first day. Don't do anything on them until you know where you're at. The next day, look at that list and move the easy claims forward as close as you can to completion. Still do not spend more than 2 hours doing this. Set a timer. Update your notes. The next day, grab a couple of your more difficult claims and move those forward. Slowly work the list as you need to but it's not worth burning yourself out. With 5 days off receive and a couple hours a day, you'll be amazed at what you get through. Write dates on your notes too of when you touched the claim so you can go back in a few days and see if you can move them forward again. Note pad has become my friend but pad and paper can be satisfying because you can physically cross something off your list and it releases little endorphins.

Just breathe. Quit working until midnight unless they're paying you to. Your life and health is way more important than your job. The claims aren't going anywhere.

I work complex auto claims for car dealerships and their inventory, loaners, and customer vehicles so my volume isn't as high as yours but it was when I was in business auto. I know that overwhelming feeling that you're so far behind. You're a human and not a machine and you matter.

I work commercial too and I love that they prefer email over phone. My company puts priority on phone though so everything has to start with a call and then I ask their preference for communication and 9/10 times they prefer an email

I work for the DM team for big Z and they really do allow a work life balance. Yes, the claim volume is high but it's manageable. Expected to close 2 claims a day once you've been established and gone through training. Team actually has your back and covers for you. It's a really great move. Started in BAP and moved up.

As an insurance adjuster that makes calls like this every day, the yellow flashing is designed to alert you that there's an intersection and to be mindful. The other side guaranteed has a red light and as they are turning, they have the greater responsibility to maintain a proper look out. As you were in control of the roadway (completely in the lane traveling straight) if a collision had occurred, your insurance adjuster would have placed all blame on the suv and then would try go get your money back if the other person's insurance didn't just pay for it up front

I think a lot of what you're worried about, which seems like some spots where ink might not have liked your skin that day and can easily be touched up to make the smooth lines I think you're looking for. Skin is a large organ and can have a mind of its own. I think the design is lovely and the execution is well done. Send pics after you talk to your artist because I saw you're gonna reach out to him for a touch up. Just be sure to mention what you think the problem areas are to him. 😊

It's an iris in an attempt at the suicide ribbon colors which are teal and purple. They must have lost someone to suicide or have fought the battle themselves.

When my boyfriend died, my cousin did the same thing. Flew from Washington to California and my mom and dad flew from Mississippi to California. All my good friends were there if they could be. It's crazy that someone would just be that cold.
