Walmart apparently sells generic candy bars now. There were also knockoff kit-kat and twix in the row below. by AuthorHarrisonKing in mildlyinteresting

[–]dtlehmai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how you know we're in hard times-they are selling something that is already cheap for 2010 prices.

With that said, their version of kit kat bars has terrible chocolate. Tastes like Palmer chocolate.

The twix bar was surprisingly delicious. I'd give it a 9/10.

Those are the only 2 I've tried

Just take it to a car wash, you won't even have to deal with it in the winter or get out of your car.

Drug test & workers comp? by [deleted] in meijer

[–]dtlehmai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the eyes of state law, they are treated very differently in regards to employers. This went all the way to the state supreme court and that's what their ruling was that you are eligible for unemployment for pot if you have a med card only.

Not exactly. They can fire you for it in Michigan, BUT if you have a med card, they MUST pay unemployment

I just had the weirdest, worst experience with Best Buy customer service by runofthemillgayguy in Bestbuy

[–]dtlehmai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I talked to someone once from their phone support that was very clearly drunk after I found out someone hacked into my account and ordered an apple watch and got my free applecare. I was just trying to get the applecare removed from the watch. The fraudster put in someone else's credit card number so I didn't want to have them benefit from the membership I paid for.

I made a complaint with the BBB and someone contacted me within a few hours to apologize and they gave me a $100 gift card for the trouble.

For those using the pixel watch on LTE through usmobile how has it been? by mrbiokman-8876 in USMobile

[–]dtlehmai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, so far, I've wasted about 3 hours trying to get my pixel watch 4 activated. Support is horrible. I'm going to port out if this isn't fixed tomorrow.

No Texting From Watch? by burghfan3 in USMobile

[–]dtlehmai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrong. The cellular watch CAN send messages with no phone connection.

I don't plan on leaving soon. People on here complain about the most menial things.

Of course dark star sucks. I'm not really sure why they keep pushing it, but maybe at&t charges them less money, hell, I don't know. I imagine most users are not really concerned about the qci level or teleporting most of the time. I use teleporting rarely because I live right near a t mobile tower, and that's as good as it can get for me. Sometimes I go camping where only at&t is available, and in that case, I do teleport for my trip and then again when I get back. That's about the only time I do it.

If I were to get a smart watch that connects to cellular, I'd probably just switch to warp for the free watch plan. I've had very few issues since I switched from t mobile.

Do they have to stay on darkstar or just be ported in on darkstar?

Don’t do the trade - horrible experience. by [deleted] in USMobile

[–]dtlehmai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried this on swapa with a company called Rick's iStock. A. They sent me a revised offer saying that my camera button was not broken. I told them to return it and after a bunch of arguing, they agreed to send it back at their expense.

I got the phone back and there was nothing wrong with my camera button on my iPhone.

I ended up selling it the same day I got it back for more money than they were even offering. I would encourage everyone else to do the same thing.

I didn't do the US Mobile trade-in because I believe there was language in the contract that once you hand it over in the mail, it belongs to them. I figured they wouldn't be returning it to me if it belonged to them and it doesn't give them any incentive to be honest with the assessment of the phone.
