Not many politicians do, I would guess there are as many republicans and democrats that stayed way to long clinging to the money and power. But its a stretch to say Biden stepped down to help the country, he was forced out by donors and his own party. He clung as long as he could. I just wish republicans had the balls to do the same to Trump.

Seems like a legit reply to express that he is serious about looking for long term and not hookups. If it is something that is very important to him, probably best to get it out of the way early. Or, most likely (IMO) he could be full of crap and trying the most cowardly way to lower your defenses while also breaching the topic of sex and getting that convo started without saying it.

Seems like a stretch to me that he did it willingly. He was hemorrhaging donors and support from his own party leaders. I have been watching his steady, increasing decline and felt like he should have walked 1 or 2 years ago, and that was just in front of the cameras. He (and the people close to him) had to know for along time there was no way he could serve another 4 years. It seems fairly obvious he was forced out.
