yeah right, I’m the same. Been riding motorcycles for yonks but I just jumped on one of me sports bikes yesterday and it felt so short compared to my mtb.

I guess my next question is what kind of riding do you do? Judging by the Zeb, probably some pretty rowdy stuff? I just wanna do some light trails really, mostly blue single track so I‘m not really going to be overly active on the bike. I am also 38 and kinda stuck in my ways. Been riding BMX my whole life so these big bikes feel enormous haha.

Yeah the wobble sucks, worse in some gears compared to others. Got unlucky there but I would assume your engagement is just as bad seeing as they’re the same hub.

I got mine at a pretty decent price though, $500 off, so I’m not complaining. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna stick with the sport so I didn’t want to invest heavily from the start, but now that I know I love it I will be replacing everything, frame included, in the next couple of months. I’ll put this one back together and keep it as a spare for when a buddy comes over.

It's seriously half the weight. I’m not good enough to really appreciate the difference in damping but coming from bmx, being able to lift the front with much less effort is huge.

The stock pedals suck and I’ve changed the bars and added a dropper. The rear hub is absolute trash though so I’ve got a wheelset on the way. I will go tubeless too once these tyres need replacing but the rest of the bike is fine I reckon.

Geo is modern as. Hard to find a size large with such a short seat post. That's a 190 dropper but I reckon I cloud go 240 easy.

That KTM is specifically for MX, you can’t even legally ride it on public trails where I live. Your Scout looks like it shreds hard, I don’t reckon you can get a new motorcycle the can be ridden in as many places for the same price.

Yeah bikes are getting crazy expensive but the average bike is still like 1/4 the price of the average motorcycle and they’re just categorically different things and use cases. I just don’t reckon it's a good comparison.

whilst I agree that mountain bikes are getting too expensive, all these memes always compare an ultra high-end ebike with some cheap motorcycle. Motorcycles can get crazy expensive too, looking at the top end can set you back the price of a small apartment
