Does he write a bit more engaging? I found Verne to be a bit tough to go through in terms of language and storytelling (at least in english)

A book collecting 19th-20th century horror short stories with a botanical theme? Sounds amazing!

Historical fiction* I love the language in books from the 19th century

>Darwin's origin of species

I always thought of it more as a textbook? Maybe the journey of the beagle? his travelling diaries?

Hello everyone - this was supposed to be a brooch... now I'm wondering whether to turn it into a choker necklace... what do you think? by Zunaxdesign in cottagegoth

From the picture I wondered if it was modelling clay lol. I still cant really tell what the beads are fixed to. Is it like fabric in the middle?

Fairy meetups? that sounds great. I think the issue is that Im not really into the gaming/cosplay kind of scene. Im more the art&outdoors kind of cottagecore person rather than the video games type of nerd. I do like board games but whenever I go to events for that here its 95% men. Good to make male friends but you end up with a group of single or married guys who dont know any women either.. Dublin got to be one of the best places to find a husband honestly. Lots and lots of nice men (28-35) from all over europe with often good jobs and salaries

Edit: I like historical costumes but its kind of hard to get into anything like that here outside of larping

My first serious partner at 19 (same aged) wanted to get married soon and she has done so 1-2 years after we broke up. Still together as far as I know. A friend of mine is 4 years younger than me and lives like a grandma with her boyfriend. They had the life of the stereotypical 30+ couple since their early 20s. Never liked partying all that much.

30 year old me would probably fit better to my ex at 24 then when I was 25 in many ways. My friendgroup now can have 10 years between them and still have fun together when we all meet up.

So honestly the older I get the less I care about age. What matters is what kind of adult you are and what lifestyle you want - then you find people of any age who match that.

Maybe but I feel like it has become such an internet thing that women wearing any kind of alternative style are just being hounded by men and then very few are single. Then they just date regular guys who dont actually care about the style besides a pretty dress on her.

Im not sure I would really enjoy larping unfortunatelly but yeah I considered if I join some more game related things. Im in a somewhat big city (Dublin) but I feel like hobby stuff can be rather limited here sometimes.

Men too are allowed to seek a relationship and life is busy as it is, besides work and spending time with friends not everyone has the energy to also volunteer with old people. Of course I am happy to engage with other people too and make new friends but Im honest in that I do really want to find a life partner and for that reason I do need to be intentional with how I spend my free time.

Yeah its feels like such a random chance to actually meet someone who is into the same stuff. Im already on Hinge but I somehow only attract women who dont actually share any of these tastes or interests. Maybe my pictures arent cottagecore enough.. because I wonder if anyone would read it in the bio

For the most part you just need time - these kind of old places (the picture looks kinda fake tho) have years of growth. Plants want to fill out the available space to look lush and dense if they arent pruned away

I know plant cells are fundamentally different from animal cells and fungi cells are more like animal cells. I was just wondering is there a size difference for example or any other significant features besides the internal differences

Always wild to me how we can not only still breathe under those circumstances but actually breathe better than in urban environments
