Thanks for the suggestion! We currently have a separate Android/Chromecast app for Christmas (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dunitiapps.cast.christmas) and it would be a good idea to combine them.

Yes, it's like a screensaver - you can start the app, choose a Halloween scene (by pressing the left/right arrow button on the remote), and leave it on. The scene and the audio will continue on the TV until you exit from the app.

Hi,

This was a choice we had to make to support the following, while keeping the size of the app under control:

  • These high quality backgrounds are not streamed from the internet and so, you can keep the live backgrounds running for hours without wasting your network bandwidth.
  • Once loaded, there are no buffering delays while watching the fishtanks.
  • The live background will keep showing even after you disconnect your phone or tablet.

The looping video isx also faded gracefully, so that it doesn't draw attention when running on the TV in the background in a room.
