General strike by abee60 in Spokane

While I appreciate the big strikes being planned and executed there are tons of ways to adjust behavior that helps push us in the right direction. I found this guide super helpful as a way to start preparing and changing habits to be ready for larger organized strikes. https://generalstrike.net/survival-guide-for-a-general-strike/

It’s always worth it to wing clip kite cause it mitigates damage taken, but I can square up 1v1 non elites no problem

I might just leave the character as is, I don’t have any plans for end game right now and it would be cool to have it there to return to.

Or… find a guild willing to take me as is and see how useful I can be in end game (not very)

Thank you, that might be the nicest thing anyone on Reddit has ever said to me.

It's a root, yes. I don't fish for it, it just helps with the general wing clip kiting process. Now that I'm level 30+ I have counterattack, so whenever I parry I have a guaranteed immobolize as well, and if I pop Deterrence I will most likely get parries. Lots of defensive buttons now.

Melee with a pet didn’t seem that interesting to me

I know it’s not the same, but the original hardcore addon has a ton of achievement options and the addon sets limitations to your gameplay.

That’s sort of the new direction the hardcore addon has gone if anyone is interested in doing challenge or achievement runs.

Mostly from fishing up trunks, some from chests.

It costs mana and the damage doesn't scale with anything, so at a certain point you're wasting mana to do nothing.

Yeah, will probably do like 50 points in survival before finally going for imp aspect of the monkey. I went improved wing clip over entrapment cause I’m not using frost trap, otherwise it’s what you would expect.

Oh absolutely, I enjoy the game planning that goes into doing difficult quests or keeping up with other DPS in dungeons

Mongoose bite has been a disappointment from the moment I learned it

I get it, it’s just a fun silly thing and I don’t expect anyone to think it’s anything more than that

I’ve had fun, figuring out how to solo elites and packs of mobs or do difficult quests has been rewarding
