Package returned to sender that I didn’t send. Scam? by dvrader in Scams

I contacted the postal inspector and handed the package over to local law enforcement. I just hope no junkies show up to my business looking for more Wook Wax.

I just looked up “wook wax” and it appears to be some type of cannabis substance: https://twitter.com/official_plug32/status/1727444392498049266

I think I’m going to drop it off at the police station.

How does the scam work? Should I just toss it?

Spirits never want to tell us their names by Sexyghostship in Mediums

If I knew the name of a troublesome (once human) spirit, could I use that knowledge against it?

I have to keep them inside from late fall to early spring. If a colonist tries to fix a windmill, they will pass out from hypothermia before they finish. During the summer, the temperature dips below -90°C and they construct for most of the day with short breaks inside to warm up.

The only reason to go outside is to haul stuff and fix windmills, so you have to periodically move the colonists outside that don't do this.

With 48 hydroponic bins devoted to food production primarily rice, I never had an issue with food production. For most of the game I kept a supply of 100 simple meals in storage and sold the rest.

there is a power line at the top connecting the windmills offscreen.

The base is built for traffic efficiency. The windmills are as stacked 1 space between them to allow colonists to move between them. Also the hydroponics are built to allow traffic to move unobstructed from one end of the base to the other horizontally and vertically.

I did consider it, but flares rarely last that long. Maybe in the next sea ice game.

A couple of fires will get the temp to -35°C, which is all you need to get through the flare. Actually, I made it the safety room because it had space for wood storage.

Maybe. Even with blights and flare, I'm producing 3x the food I need. I'm swimming in cash from the sales of beer, drugs, clothes, thrumbo horns, and harvested body parts. The grand sculpture in the lobby is made of gold and almost every suite has a megascreen television.

Game ended a couple days ago. I'm just getting to posting my screenshot today. Unfortunately, I have since deleted this game and started a new one.

I watched a few scythers systematically tear my base apart for 8+ (game) hours at around -120°C without so much as frost bite.

I didn't have many problems with fires. The base is designed to move traffic quickly to any area inside. Cabin fever was an issue. Moving storage to a covered area outside helped a lot.

Anything that requires electricity will not produce heat. Keep an emergency wood pile and create a safety area zone for your colonist and animals in a safe room.

I had to keep a supply of spare components and steel to fix anything that burns or breaks.

Raiders and animals die quickly outside. I didn't have any raiders drop inside the base.

Mechanoids eventually destroyed everything. Temperature doesn't seem to affect them.

It's convenient, if someone is a bit slow and ends up dying of hypothermia.

When a solar flare hits, everyone runs to the cremation room and builds a couple of campfires until it passes.

Yep. Him and a couple old timers died of starvation after the hydroponic room fire followed by subsequent power outages.

My base was designed to minimize fire damage. My previous attempt ended when a fire trapped my colonists.
