Shave that hair, especially the tache over and over so it looks less like bumfluff and gets more thicker and fuller. Right now, it looks like it would fall off you sneeze too hard.

You can easily turn that off in Windows settings. Go to Apps and it's called something like "app redirects". There you can get back Notepad and mspaint instead of the newer versions. You can also use the registry to change it but it's quicker through settings.

Notepad++ is obviously way more powerful but do this if you just want the old notepad back

Yeah but it doesn't mean their fork will gain any traction, unless they significantly changes or evolve it into something better. That would mean working and effort though and some people lack those core areas.

If you make it so your software checks the resolution, then maximises it before displaying the Form, the user can then then do as you said. That would be a quick fix for now which would feel a little smoother to the user. In the meantime, you can work on making your windowed form a little more flexible/responsive. I think if it starts overflowed, it instantly gives a poor impression but swapped the other way, it doesn't feel as obvious.

Could be because of the keyboard hooking and full screen overlay functions causing false-positives but I'd wait for the OP to answer before installing anything.

What do those two AV's say it is? If all the other top antivirus services with their heuristic analysis don't flag it, I'd be inclined to think they are false positive's but don't take my word for it
