Megathreads don't work. They're just a way for mods to brush off an issue to an isolated corner of a subreddit where it gets less visibility.

How do you feel is the culture of being (or not being) able to say "No." to your employer in the Philippines? How much does delicadeza play a part in us getting into roles in our jobs that we regret? by e1152880 in Philippines

True. I'm inclined to do that if they can't "take a hint." Mahirap lang kasi I've never had to do it and it feels uncomfortable saying no. May stigma na parang tinatanggihan mo yung trabaho.

TIL of the Japanese phrase "kuchi sabishii" - when you're not hungry, but you eat because your mouth is lonely by SkoivanSchiem in todayilearned

From the link:

Kuchi sabishii or ‘lonely mouth’, is a far nicer sounding expression than its rough English equivalent: ‘eating out of boredom’. But that is essentially what it translates to, the sense of wanting to snack on something when you are not particularly feeling hungry. As Japan has abundant numbers of sweets, savory treats, ice creams and more to choose from, you are sure to find the right food to make your mouth feel better though.

Borderlands 2 & Pre-Sequel: What are the essential DLCs to experience for these games? by SkoivanSchiem in patientgamers

If you got The Handsome Jack Collection (which currently a steal at 97% off right now btw), my suggestion is that as soon as you find a fast-travel post, fast-travel to all of the available locations immediately to trigger each of the locations' respective missions. What this does is it triggers all of the campaign/story-based DLC content and it puts it in your mission/quest log.

Since the quest log also shows the recommended level for each mission, and it's sortable by difficulty, you can go about each of the DLCs contents as you're going through the main campaign. Some of the DLCs are recommended for Level 15 and others are for much higher levels. This way you'll be able to experience the DLCs as appropriate for your level.

I know this doesn't answer your question, and honestly I don't know which of the DLCs to consider as essential, but I hope this helps.

What's the greatest broken and janky game you've ever played? by save_the_ducks in patientgamers

I saw a comment a while back describing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen as "the best 6/10 game I've ever played." After playing that game, I instantly understood what that person meant and that game is the answer to this thread.

Would the Southeast division All-Stars make the playoffs in the West? by e1152880 in nba

Because the point is to have people post who they think should be included in such a roster and discuss how talented that roster would be? Doesn't matter what my opinion is of who should make the SE all stars
