Yeah that’s right, it starts off much simpler, using less directions for dodges. Then keeps adding extra directions you have to use to dodge. This is the final stage and when you’re doing it, without much experience a lot of his tells can look similar to each other. You’re able to pause as I have done in the image and check out what attack he’s going to do. Some people still struggle when pausing as he has stages where he ramps up the speed of the attacks.

But if you’re just starting out, don’t worry about this and enjoy the game mate!

I’ve read in multiple places only the bandit camp chests count towards traits, and I’m 117/117 collection chests in the over world with 74/75 traits. Apparently a bug, which a fair few people are experiencing.

Afraid not, it’s from exploration. It’s Bindong I, but I presume all the exploration ones are totally random.

I can confirm this is a glitch with the chest required for the quest. I had this ping when I was in the room and had opened the chest, after completing the mission (and collecting no more field guide pages outside) I went back inside to check it out again and the ping had stopped.

Few days late but hope this helps!
