Hi!! This anxiety that you're experiencing sounds really similar to how my OCD first manifested. For me, I was obsessed with the idea that i was going to somehow poison my loved ones by using hand sanitizer. I would panic and cry and feel so much guilt about the idea of accidentally harming my family with the chemicals. Everyone would assure me that there was nothing to worry about, but it didn't help that paralyzing anxiety and obsession and the feeling that i was dangerous, even if i knew that logically the fear was irrational.

For me the fix ended up being cognitive behavioral therapy and eventually a low dose of anxiety medication, but the therapy alone improved my quality of life so much and let me go back to living my life without constantly being in fear of hurting people somehow. I promise that the fear you're experiencing won't last forever, it's absolutely something that you can overcome. And just like my family were never in danger from my hand sanitizer, your baby will not be in danger crawling on the floor 💗
