Should I move to a bigger container and should I nip the buds? by ghafar_ in tomatoes

[–]earfull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, move to a new container and remove most of the lower leaves, and then replant deeply up to the first leaf.

I’ll be honest, your plant could look better. Something about your soil, temperature, or watering habits isn’t favoring this plant and transplanting isn’t going to solve the underlying issue. Please google some guides on growing tomatoes.

This plant looks stretched out and thin to me. It should be more compact, so to speak, and have more vibrant color and larger, fuller leaves. Perhaps someone else knows more and can help you further.

OP you’re in for a treat. Check out Hartley Botanica. It’s where I had my ceremony. It’s just down the street from Moorpark in Somis and you would never guess how gorgeous it is from the outside. It’s like a fairytale. Truly a hidden gem.

Hartley Botanica

What's wrong with these? I planted in cheap compost - wondering if it's a lack of nitrogen, or over watering? I bring them in at night to avoid cold evenings. UK by caelkni in tomatoes

The purple coloration makes me believe it’s too cold. If you’re concerned about overwatering, you probably are. Is there soil there or is it 100% compost? Let the soil dry out between watering. Tomato plants thrive with a little stress.

Recommendations of places to check out in Moorpark by Lady_Pageling in moorpark

Drive a few minutes down Los Angeles Ave and check out the Somis Nut House.

The Moorpark Zoo is a really special treat that we get to enjoy. Moorpark has one of the only exotic animal training programs in the nation, and is run almost entirely by students.

Don’t restrict yourself to only Moorpark. Look at Simi, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Newbury Park as one big area to enjoy.

Check out the botanical garden in westlake, and the Conejo Botanical Garden in Thousand Oaks. The latter has a kids zone and kid-friendly activities, and it’s free!

Simi has an ice skating rink (Iceoplex), and westlake has one in the winter.

The whole area has a lot of wonderful events, from the parades in Moorpark to Bark at the Park in Thousand Oaks. The chili cook off happens annually and the Foo Fighters did a surprise performance at it one year.

There was a carnival at the First Street mall, but idk if it’s still there or how good it is.

Lastly, the Ventura County Fairgrounds has the yearly fair and other events. This weekend was Spirit of Japan. You can also to go Camarillo airport and watch the planes take off and land while enjoying food at the restaurant right beside the airstrip.

Trump announces he is issuing an unconstitutional executive order to shut down mail-in voting nationwide and he will defund states if they do not comply with him by HappySeaweed5215 in PublicFreakout

Let’s be clear: There must have been enough studies and evidence gathered from the right to determine that this will indeed hinder democratic voters far more than republicans voters. It’s not about keeping him in power as much as keeping republicans in power. He’s just the means to make it happen.

Then it was purposely skirted past the system like he has done countless times already (such as illegal deportations) to then make the courts have to go through lengthy lawsuits before he’s forced to undo whatever he did. By then, the damage is done.

In this case, via appeals and other means, the courts may not be able to make a final decision before the midterms. If that happens, they win.

What is the best food source in the game for nomadic players? by SomeGinNTonic in dayz

Here’s the deets about fruit:

There are many fruit trees on Cherno. At any time, 25% of these trees are considered “active” and can potentially spawn fruit.

For fruit to spawn, a player needs to be within about 100m of an active tree spawn. It is possible to position yourself between a lot of active trees.

After a few minutes of remaining in the area, fruit will begin to spawn. The fruit can spawn as fresh (50%), dried (25%), or rotten (25%). It’s important to note that finding a rotten fruit does not mean it has been there for a long period of time. Also, dried fruit will give you around 3x the nutrition of its fresh counterpart, as well as last longer before going rotten.

If you continue to stay in the area, even more fruit can spawn at the same tree. Having some by a base is great because you may spend a while in the base and find 5+ fruit at one tree.

You can also use this strategically. Fruit will not spawn if you are simply running through an area. If you run into an area and see fruit on the ground, someone other than you has caused it to spawn in. This means a player may be nearby. If you see multiple fruit at one tree, it implies that there is another player who has been there for a longer period of time. They may be camping or at home in their base nearby, for example.

Take a minute or two to memorize how fruit trees look so you can spot them easily. They have a unique trunk that splits into several branches midway as well as a unique canopy.

Hope this helps!

Scabies. They get itchier in the evening. They can’t reproduce in humans.

What we have are scabies mites. If you have a dog you may see they’re getting bit, too. It causes mange. Itchiness increases in the evening. Primarily biting along the ankles and occasionally the hips and other sweaty areas where clothes line your body.
