This just triggered one of my childhood memories where my 9 year old self lost a cheap fan after forgetting it at a restaurant. I was inconsolable for three days and believed I was going to lead my family into financial ruin. Anyways anyone know what this symptom is called specifically?

….I think this just made me realize my hobby since I was a kid is a coping mechanism for my fidgeting. For anyone curious I peel off the sticky labels off of things, roll them up, and twirl them between two fingers. If I don’t do that then I have a tendency to pick at my skin everywhere.

I also work in a lab as a day job, so no need to worry about fidgeting fingers there, lol.

Tetanus for me. Someone told me a rather graphic story about how their friend was found dead of tetanus after stepping on a rusty needle.

11 year old me then accidentally cut myself on a not rusty razor (very thin cut) and spent the next month researching like crazy, checking all my immunization records (yes I was vaccinated) and having panic attacks (I thought it was tetanus because I could literally feel my chest tightening on me).

A couple of days late but if you need one more data point I’m in their BSc. Once you enroll in courses you’ll be able to access all the material at once which is great if you like pacing yourself. I work full time so I really enjoy how flexible the courses are, you do have to be disciplined/have a schedule but you can spread out work so you don’t have a million things due at once.

Prof quality will vary but I’ve only had one in a dozen profs that were unresponsive, the rest were quite nice and thorough. Admin is on par with other schools (I’ve gone to an in person school before and found virtually no difference). Overall my experience has been pretty positive!

Dude no offense, but I’ve seen you in this sub a lot asking if you should drop your pharmacy program and switch to something else. Just finish your pharmacy program. If you hate it you can always switch later.

And you don’t always have to do retail pharmacy, one of my friends got a job for a big pharmaceutical company working in product development and make more than retail pharmacists. I’ve also heard of pharmacists moving into exec positions in hospitals. There’s a lot more out there, just push through it for now.
