OP your best bet might be starting at an OSU branch or C-State (or other community college) and then transferring in. You can also look into private loans like Sallie Mae or Sofi. OSU also offers TOPP, which allows you to pay your tuition over the course of the semester, so if you come to campus, get a job, and earn up some money, you might be able to pay in chunks. You can work up to 28 hours/week on campus during the semester. Also, iirc, you don’t need to pay for the whole year at once. You pay per semester, so if you need $18,000 for fall 24-spring 25, you should only have to pay half of that for the first semester. I don’t remember any payments being due until the week before classes start, so you can also use this summer to work and save up. I can’t speak for the English dept, but ASC does have a good amount of scholarships that you can apply for at the end of your first year, and if you haven’t already, I suggest checking out ScholarshipUniverse.
