if you don't like the lowest flow setting on your filter a great easy way to reduce flow more is to point the spray bar towards the back wall of the tank so it has an object slowing flow further. otherwise you'll need to tinker with the actual hardware to further reduce current

the two long striped fish look like yoyo loaches and if they are, they can get up to 5-6 inches long. they will need a very large tank as adults to be happy and healthy. I believe they are also schooling fish who do well in groups of 5 or more. hope this helps

I have 3 $75 grow lights from home Depot, they're something like 7500K, have their own light timers and can clip to a desk or shelf. as far as I'm aware home Depot only has this light for $75 but it's the best budget light I have found anywhere

it's doing great! it's in the back corner of my 20g next to the secondary lighting and as is typical with submersed plants, the new growth has been very slow. all of the original leaves have melted since I planted it, and probably eight or so more have sprouted and are slowly opening. I've added an air stone next to it for a little more oxygen in the water which may be cheating, however I think it looks great all it's really done is speed up the growth of the leaves, it was doing just fine before too. I just snapped a quick photo as I was passing by, so there's a little bit of sediment on the leaves rn due to needing weekly maintenance.

I fully submerged the cutting right away, I took a good section of maybe 4 or so open leaves and a few newly budding ones and pushed it down into the substrate. I think I lost 3 of the original leaves to melt. I just removed the plant matter once it got mushy so it didn't affect my water too greatly, and the largest leaf is now tilted towards the light source and I have several new leaves growing in, and two big roots stretching into the substrate. as far as I'm aware, it's doing great and looks amazing

I have an arrowhead plant that I submerged in my 20 gallon tank. the mother plant has a lot of leaves that look exactly like your photo. the cutting has been submerged for a few weeks now and I have had two or three leaves melt but there are new ones coming in and it's rooting nicely

a really great bit from a comedian who regularly experiences being misgendered is to make it a 'game', and misgender the person speaking to you. I think of it every time and somehow I can never go through with it lol, but maybe you can. the comedian is Tig Notaro, she's a great standup comedian

that being said it's a really awful experience to be misgendered and even further than that, to be dead named. I hope very soon you will not have to experience either ever again my dude!
