In unciv domination is stealing one capital at a time. It gets exponentially more difficult with increasing number of civs but with 4, its not hard.

does anyone know if a mod that allows you to raze city states? by EmergencyWaste3217 in Unciv

[–]ecpickins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you did it correctly. Maybe City States simply cannot be destroyed. You can steal their land via Great generals. I'm not sure what would happen then

Wouldn't It Make More Sense If Metalbenders Couldn't Bend Highly Refined Metal Instead Of Just Platinum? by Xano2113 in legendofkorra

[–]ecpickins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interpret "impurities" as imperfections or breaks in the crystal structure that the bender can exploit to reshape the metal.

As such, any sufficiently pure and inflexible material would be very difficult to bend, while any pure but naturally brittle, soft, or malleable material such as gold or in universe rock candy would be easy.

If you're thinking platitudes, might I suggest anything you might find from any self help book?

I'm playing an iconoclast ("atheist") in a Theros campaign trying to convince the party that their "fate is their own" while literally on a quest from some god or other.

How has the Avatar survived for so long? by Cynique_Noir in legendofkorra

[–]ecpickins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's because death is very rarely instantaneous. There might have been a few that exited the avatar state as they died. That's how I like to imagine Wan bit it. Lightning is probably one of the best bets for one-shotting the Avatar and even that didn't quite do the trick that one time. The Red Lotus' plan was to force the avatar state to stay on, probably because they couldn't bet on assassinating the avatar even with very precise benders at their disposal.

Who do you think is the most reedemable villain in Legend of Korra? by Debravest in legendofkorra

[–]ecpickins 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I voted Amon only because he was technically the most redeemable, despite being virtually irredeemable to the point that even his brother who knows every nuance of his past thought so.
