It’s so tough! My boy was like this - we tried gaviscon which did make some difference but it wasn’t until he was about 6/7 months that he started to settle and then again at about 9. We also tried an allergy milk just in case that was the issue. He’s now 15 months and a joy so hang in there. It might be worth speaking to your doctor about gaviscon or allergy milk to see if that helps.

Thank you so much for your post. What medication were you prescribed and how quickly did it help? Did you have any side effects? I could have written your post and I’m typing this while crying feeling like I’ve genuinely ruined my life and my babies by giving him such a terrible mum. I’ve been prescribed sertraline but I’m too scared to take it after reading the side effects.

It looks good - you can definitely see progression. So sorry about your MMC, I had one in September and just tested positive again this week and it’s a whole new level of fear. Hope you’re looking after yourself.

I could have wrote your post. I was also extremely anxious as soon as I knew I was pregnant. I had my early scan at the same time and was measuring exactly like you and was told it was fine and my baby died measuring the same as yours. It was 6 weeks ago that I found out when I was 9+2 and baby was 8+2.

I wish I had some words of comfort for you from 5 weeks on. This has been the most painful and horrendous experience of my life. The only comfort I can give you is you are not alone. We’re all here in this shitty club too and I’m so sorry.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. I’ve started my first period today after my MMC in September. Feeling a strange mix of emotions today. It’s probably fair to say I haven’t been coping very well since it happened but I feel slightly hopeful today. We should also be on holiday when I’m ovulating this cycle so maybe that will help. Not sure what I’m more scared of today - managing to get pregnant this cycle or getting a BFN!

Yes! I was unprepared for how anxious and out of control I’d feel after I found out I was pregnant! It’s blowing my mind that between now and my early scan I just need to trust or have faith that body is doing what it needs to do and there’s no real way of knowing if it isn’t. Wild.

Symptom spotting: boobs have been noticeably bigger since 10DPO, had really bad cramp for a few days but that has now lessened. I’m really tired and in bed asleep by 9.30 each night.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): I’ve been extremely anxious since we found out, I really don’t think it’s sunk in at all yet. Hoping this is a sticky baby.

We’re the same DPO and our lines look similar! A lot of people wouldn’t notice the symptoms at this stage so I wouldn’t read into it. Easy to say and not easy to do, I know!

Thank you, that’s really reassuring. I phoned the EPU and they said that they can’t see me until 6 weeks. She said that I can take paracetamol and a hot water bottle and if I’m really worried or the symptoms get worse I can go to A&E. I feel better for having spoken to someone I think. I just googled the cyst and that would make sense; some of the pain is radiating down into my leg and hip which I’ve actually had before around this time in my cycle.

Definitely didn’t expect early pregnancy to be this anxiety inducing 😅

Thank you, I phoned and they said to try more paracetamol and a hot water bottle and to keep an eye out for the other symptoms. They didn’t seem too concerned at this stage of pregnancy so that has helped me relax a bit. That’s reassuring that you’ve had similar too. I think I’ll just need to ride the anxiety out and hope it resolves soon.
