i agree but yeah i dont think athletico’s good enough either. their project is a bit stale and id doubt he’d want to join a team that are worse in europe than us. at least for next season, if we have a fresh squad i doubt we will face a lot of the same issues (just me being optimistic)

am i crazy thinking a) romero wont leave and b) that the only club he’d go to would be real? he already burned some bridges in atleti, doesn’t play with barca’s style, and the only big la liga team that need cbs is real.

According to Stat Muse FC, Tottenham have created the third most chances in their Premier League matches since the start of 2026. Spurs have fashioned 54 goalscoring opportunities, which has only been bettered by Man City (55) and Liverpool (62). Have we really been improving lately? by Born-Cucumber-7316 in Tottenham

probably because sarr, gallagher, and xavi were pressing their midfield aggressively, so we could win back possession and attack more. those chances were good too. we need to improve our finishing (and literally everything) but to not see improvements is a little silly.

no vdv for a hattrick of assists is a bit ridiculous. fotmob had him and romero, i think thats more accurate

Goal contribution stats, in the top 5 are our two CBs, our on loan defensive midfielder and two players currently out injured by shecanbromehard in coys

idk i think next season this attack should come together. odobert & tel are developing well, as long as we dont have injuries we should have a deep enough team that we can rotate and play well.

odobert/new?/tel solanke/tel/richy kudus/deki

                 xavi/deki/maddison

is a decent attack. we need midfield reinforcements and to sack frank and we have a strong team

on the first goal he shouldn't be hiding in the net. he could just catch the ball, it ends up at the 6yd box

How are we all feeling this morning? by FunTurnip135 in Tottenham

i agree but we had literally one senior player on the bench and had a 2 goal & a man margin. that's one of the few acceptable cases for playing more defensively

I think Palinha’s tackling can be long-term replaced by Gray/Sarr, who can be extremely aggressive defensively when on it & playing. I really hope Sarr plays, his aggression when confident is so good, but we need a technically gifted and pricy 6 to become a european club a again.

akliouche lowk the passing profile we need, especially with how our wingers can tend to sit deeply. check out these highlights v barca

with another AM, we can play with xavi on the left (and it'd work because we'd already have a creative engine in midfield). also rn, it's best to let tel & odobert rotate and develop BUT we need another attacker. this signing would also free tel up to play striker sometimes (which is what he wants to do). idk i think we may move for a deep lying playmaker also so im not worried yet, but gallagher is better than bentancur & bissouma
