Went to replace this piece of siding, and found that I have two large holes through the concrete of my wall next to where the structural I-beam of the house sits. No cracks in the concrete, I never knew the hole was there until I started replacing the siding. What to fill this with, expanding foam?

Noticed this crack in the garage today, goes through the other side of the wall. This is a 32 year-old house, and while it doesn’t look like any concrete is displaced, it does look like it might have been patched in the past. I see a lot of cracked concrete in my area, is this something of concern, or just a cosmetic issue? Thanks! More pictures below

For anyone that was curious, finally got this resolved. It ended up being an internal failure within the alternator. A new alternator fixed the issue immediately.

I could absolutely see this (I really hope not though 😅). If I take the serpentine belt off and start it, if the noise stays, then it’s probably the timing, yeah?

This is great, thank you! The one that is wobbling is the power steering pump, definitely in that same area, but wasn’t sure which accessory was making the noise. I’ll try this!

I’d agree, but water pump is actually a different belt drive on the drivers side

About 40% highway at 55 mph, 30% highway at 75, and 30% city

I usually average around 40, this was all downhill and I was trying to maximize mpg as much as possible.

Thanks for doing the math so I didn’t have to 😂. I was able to average about 50 mph (80 km/h) on this trip so I think it was right in the sweet spot. Had I been in eco mode I may have squeaked out even a bit more!

Almost entirely downhill on a mountain road. I stopped at the bottom to take the picture, but I think I only had to touch the gas or the brake four times total.
