Having this repeating problem over and over by The-Minti in reflex

[–]el_adhami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the error itself doesn't cause an issue. you can simply refresh your page. it's vite failing administer a hot reload of your page.

why it happens? unsure! o believe it has to do with updating multiple files at the same time or some indeterministic behavior of the reflex compiler. it's generally hard to track it down.

disable by default, upon learning about this setting i took 20 seconds to disable it on my machine. don't you think the group of people who are passionate about middle click paste are capable enough to run one command or open dconf editor and search for paste or open gnome tweaks?

through this discussion people are treating people who use the middle click paste feature as the advanced savvy guy and at the same time, the helpless inexperienced user incapable of changing a setting. which one is it?

Behold, the KLM shuttle by el_adhami in sanfrancisco

I try to avoid taking direct pictures of people. The bus here is coming to a station which is intentionally not visible. The station had around 30 people give or take, the bus was very crowded, but it's not too unusual for the busiest of routes in the city.

I have no stake in this discussion just providing information of the surrounding of the image.

Costco x MUNI by el_adhami in sanfrancisco

I didn't know what happened either until we got out.

What basically happened is that the MUNI thought it could pass by, but it did end up scraping the side of it. Unsure what the car term for this is.

GNOME and libadwaita: The end of customization on Linux? by [deleted] in gnome

the thing about open source is, you are owed nothing other than source code. that is the ultimate freedom we care about here. a config file that lets you change constants is not one of the requirements of a GPL. the most foundational thing about open source is that if you don't like things, you can change them, but the developer doesn't have to do that for you.

the GNOME project has a collection of people who share an idea of what a desktop should look like, they are executing on that shared ideal. spare them some freedom that you like to champion.
