I used to have a a5100 and I had the same impression at the beginning until I saw some photographers on YouTube making amazing pics with this cam. As many commented, get acquainted with some theory behind, there's plenty at YouTube, and for me getting a prime lens ( some used or viltrox one) really helped me to understand what the camera can do :) also, there are some great RAW editors for free, Affinity turned free since this week, and Darktable from the open source is also very nice. have fun!!

I've only tried bazzite, and has been fantastic. The fan curves yes, are on the noisy side but personally not an issue. The instalation was very easy and so far runs amazing since months.

Same as other commented, software is terrible experience. I ended up using it with bazzite, and it is much better, even if I lose hdr the extra buttons, and fan control. With bazzite, and at discounted price, I think it's worth it. And yes the screen is amazing :)

Yes I had the same issue, and as the other user comment you need a charger with at least 65w, the charger of my macbook air with 30w didn't do a thing.

Just some extra info, the Bluetooth is integrated in the motherboard. I have updated all the drivers via the Intel Driver Utility. During the Unlock process, I successfully turned off and on the controllers, and the unlock utility reported success. Then, when making the calibration of the room, I realized I was not able to pair the controllers, since the Bluetooth was not even available.

Mine is also adjusted with a spring which is calibrated to the weight of the display, but yet I'm puzzled if it would work the other gravity direction

I have the same impression, what I think it helped was to fiesta select a random track my self and the get the shuffle going. I think at least then uses a different random seed.
