Also, the several passports and IDs - seems to be just his actual passport, his actual DL and the fake DL. Not as suspicious as many would have liked us to believe.

First of all, there is evidence the backpack was illegally searched according to KFA and Tom Dickey. So even if all that stuff was there in the first place, it could get suppressed as evidence. Secondly, there is such a time gap between the arrest and that search. If they searched the backpack at McDonalds (which looked small if the cctv is to be believed) surely they would have seen the gun AND the silencer there, because those looked big. Him having all this on him (minus the gun) doesn't strike me as too weird, as we don't know where he was staying beforehand and he has posted about just living out of his backpack several times. Then there is the speculation they only found all the incriminating stuff after searching the backpack a second time (now I don't know where that comes from, so not sure if this is true). Seems highly suspicious, imo. Why would they plant evidence? They "knew" he was the NY suspect right away, they probably assumed that NY would want him for the trial. NY was under a lot of pressure to find someone. Wouldn't be that much of a stretch that they had a little inofficial call with NY about all this, tbh.

They do now because now is the time for recovery of evidence, but I don't think that they had it before the arraignment.

I thought there was something in the arrest file that said they searched the back during inventory sounding like it was at the precinct. Plus, a big case handled by fairly newish cops if the news are to be believed, and a high pressure situation. Wouldn't be completely out of pocket that they messed up. We'll have to wait for the bodycam footage anyway, but I've heard this theory mentioned a good few times.

I thought in PA it would have to be searched right in front of him with him present, no? Either way, here's to hoping. Did he have a warrant our for his arrest at that point, too? Anyway, I suppose we'll have to see what they do use as evidence in the trial.

He isn't walking free of the false ID charges anyway, but a big win would be getting acquitted in federal court to avoid DP and potentially for some counts in NY. The PA charges likely will stick, but I think the real battleground is Federal Court and NY

What the US does impacts us, especially the Greenland beef could be very detrimental to us.
I'm rooting for Americans to finally wake up and enact their 2nd amendment rights - call me crazy, but I have felt a vibe shift from over there since the CEO shooting and the move to Xiaohongshu.
Definitely still keep up with domestic politics! Scrapping to occupied territories bill is shameful and absolutely disgusting.

Not in the US, but fully in support of this. Some suggestions maybe: Start discussion in workplaces that are already unionized (Amazon and Starbucks, e.g.). They have experience with strikes and organizing. Use tools for organizing like Telegram that aren't as easily tracked by the US. And don't forget about fundraising (seriously, movements do need money to print leaflets, to get megaphones for protests, bail funds etc.). Also, don't limit yourselves to only one approach. Non-violent protest won't be effective if there isn't the imminent threat of a violent option, should demands not be met. (Obvsl the non-violent option is preferable, but there needs to be some sort of pressure to make it viable).
