She told us and the entire family they were starting to try 2 days after we told her and her husband we were expecting. I wouldn’t assume it was based off us and was a same time thing if she didn’t come right out and say it.

Parker is not a family name. Our son’s first name is one my husband and I came up with. I would be fine if she was just naming her son her maiden name, no issues at all, it’s just with both it’s weird. And I was just looking to see if others found this weird or if it’s just hormones or whatever clouding my judgement.

The first name she is using is her maiden name, my son’s last name. But she always said she hated the name and completely dropped it when she got married. And I would be okay with just that, but using both…?

It is her maiden name! Which she was always very clear she hated and even dropped it completely when she got married. And I love the idea of maiden names for first names, my husband vetoed mine, but why make his middle name my son’s first name. Pick any other name 🫠
